Like Being involved in a good conversation
I really enjoy this podcast, it’s like being involved in a good conversation at the local chow hall. Entertaining Stories, slices of life and a helping of God. The guys sound genuine and I’d buy them both a beer if they ever get up to North Idaho.

A Time to Kill, The Myth of Christian Pacifism by Greg Hopkins

This book is about decisions. Not the everyday kind such as “What should I wear today?” or “Where shall we eat tonight?” but decisions that deal with life, death, and protecting the innocent. Self defense is not only about individual survival; self defense can also decide the fate of a nation and all its citizens. “A Time to Kill:

The Myth of Christian Pacifism” answers questions such as:

  • Do federal, state, and local laws allow citizens to defend themselves against criminal attack?
  • What means are available for self defense?
  • What strategies should one use to avoid potential conflict. Can Christians defend themselves against Islamic extremists?
  • Is pacifism in the Bible?
  • Do the Gospels say Jesus was a pacifist?
  • What if God commands us to use deadly force to defend the innocent?
  • How do Jesus and the New Testament writers feel about the military?
  • What does the Bible say about the death penalty?
  • Can Christians sit on juries and vote for the death penalty?
  • Can Jesus’ teachings help soldiers with combat-induced PTSD?
  • Does the Bible have a consistent message about self-defense from the Old Testament to the New?”

Unity with Believers and God

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” (Eph. 2:19-22)

And now God dwells in us. Who are we? We are the temple of God. We are the sanctuary and dwelling place of God, built upon the foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of our great King. As God’s temple, we look forward to the day when the whole earth is filled with the presence of God.

Mother defends herself and daughter from crazed intruder, WTKR, Hampton Roads, Va. 03/12/15

A mother was at home with her young child in Newport News, Va. when a stranger behaving erratically began trying to force his way into the home through a door. Concerned for herself and her daughter’s safety, the mother retrieved a gun and called police. The man eventually broke into the home through a window. The mother responded to the intrusion by shooting the home invader twice. When police arrived the criminal was taken to a local hospital; he is expected to recover.

In explaining the incident to a local media outlet, the mother told a reporter, “All I knew is I wanted to stop him from hurting me or hurting my daughter.” The mother added, “It doesn’t make it too much easier to know that I can totally handle my worst fear… But along the same lines, it makes me feel more confident I was able to do what I needed to do.” (WTKR, Hampton Roads, Va. 03/12/15)

The chicken walks out the door. Ten minutes later the chicken comes back again, very agitated, saying, “Book book book!” so quickly it almost sounds like one word. Fishing License

Acouple of rednecks were fishing at their special pond off the beaten track when out of the bushes jumped the Game Warden.

Immediately, one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods, and hot on his heels came the Game Warden.

After about a half mile the young man stopped and stooped over with his hands on his thighs to catch his breath and the Game Warden finally caught up to him.

“Let’s see yer fishin’ license, Boy!!” the Warden gasped.

With that, the fella pulled out his wallet and gave the Game Warden a valid fishing license.

“Well, son,” said the Game Warden, “you must be about as dumb as a box of rocks! You don’t have to run from me if you have a valid license!”

“Yes, sir,” replied the young feller, “But my friend back there, well, he don’t have one …”

The Pig

This redneck was parked behind a trailer load of pigs near the zoo in Washington, DC. As the truck drove away–one of the pigs fell out. He walked over and picked the pig up and placed it in the front seat of his truck.

He was sitting there looking puzzled when a policeman walked up and asked what was going on. He told the story and the policeman recommended he take the pig to the zoo.

The redneck was sitting in the same spot the next day with the pig sitting up in the front seat. The cop said “didn’t I ask you to take this pig to the zoo?”

The redneck replied “I did and he liked it so well–today I’m taking him to the movies!”

Subject: Historical Irony

Hey Troy, Hey Doug

Thought I’d share an interesting learning experience I had on vacation. Since our family loves history we had gone to Colonial Williamsburg where they have costumed interpreters who interact with the visitors and describe life in the 1700’s. We saw several interpreters on the village green earnestly discussing some grave matter. I asked one of them what the unrest was about. “Good Sir, our gunpowder has gone missing from the magazine.” he replied, “Without it we are defenseless, thus we are going hence to Lord Dunmore’s residence to address the issue.”

The issue (in 1775) it seems was that the man appointed by the Crown as Governor of Virginia, Lord Dunmore, feared the rise of the local colonial militias as a threat to his control of the citizenry. So he had ordered the Royal Marines to take the colonist’s gunpowder, and with it their ability to defend themselves, from the magazine during the night with orders to place it on British warships several hours away.

Joining the group of visitors and interpreters I walked to the Governor’s Place at the far end of the green where, standing behind two armed British Soldiers, we found “Lord Dunmore”.  He explained that in fact he’d had the powder removed for our own safety as there were rumors of a possible slave rebellion. If need be he could return the powder to us within a half hour, but that would not be necessary since well-trained British troops were there to protect us.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Here was a lying government official, himself being well guarded by armed troops, wishing to curtail the freedom of the citizens to defend themselves. He then, by dealing in misinformation and citing vague rumors, tried to convince us that it was for our own good that he had covertly sent agents of the government to remove our means of self-defense. Furthermore we should now look to that same government for both fair treatment and protection from harm.

Talk about your historical irony. Back then such actions kick started a revolution. Just something to think about.

Take care,
Dwayne

Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.  Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them. Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever.  He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the  Lord  is gracious and merciful. He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations. The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy;    they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. He sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever.  Holy and awesome is his name!     The fear of the  Lord  is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! Psalm 111:1-10 (ESV)

Resident fights off three home invaders, KRQE, Albuquerque, N.M. 08/20/14

A man was asleep at home in Albuquerque, N.M. when a trio of armed robbers attempted to gain entry to the residence by claiming that they were police. The criminals ultimately broke down the door and got inside the home. The resident responded by retrieving a gun and firing at the home invaders, striking and killing one, and wounding another. The surviving intruders fled the home, but were later captured by police. The surviving home invaders have been charged with the murder of their accomplice. Albuquerque Police Department Public Information Officer Tanner Tixier shared some advice for would be intruders with local media outlet KRQE, stating, “What people need to understand is if you join your buddy to go commit a felony and your buddy dies you can be the one who gets charged with murder.”

Comedy Corner:

Overcrowded church
The two thousand member Baptist church was filled to overflowing capacity one Sunday morning. The preacher was ready to start the sermon when two men, dressed in long black coats and black hats entered thru the rear of the church.
One of the two men walked to the middle of the church while the other stayed at the back of the church. They both then reached under their coats and withdrew automatic weapons.
The one in the middle announced, “Everyone willing to take a bullet for Jesus stay in your seats!”
Naturally, the pews emptied, followed by the choir. The deacons ran out the door, followed by the choir director and the assistant pastor.
After a few moments, there were about twenty people left sitting in the church. The preacher was holding steady in the pulpit.
The men put their weapons away and said, gently, to the preacher, “All right, pastor, the hypocrites are gone now. You may begin the service.”

Do you go to church?
A friend was in front of me coming out of church one day, and the preacher was standing at the door as he always is to shake hands. He grabbed my friend by the hand and pulled him aside.
The Pastor said to him, “You need to join the Army of the Lord!”
My friend replied, “I’m already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor.”
Pastor questioned, “How come I don’t see you except at Christmas and Easter?”
He whispered back, “I’m in the secret service.

Weekly Bible Verses
Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,  “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it, for their evil has come up before me.”  But Jonah rose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. So he paid the fare and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish, away from the presence of the Lord. But the  Lord  hurled a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship threatened to break up. Then the mariners were afraid, and each cried out to his god. And they hurled the cargo that was in the ship into the sea to lighten it for them. But Jonah had gone down into the inner part of the ship and had lain down and was fast asleep.  So the captain came and said to him, “What do you mean, you sleeper? Arise, call out to your god! Perhaps the god will give a thought to us, that we may not perish.” Jonah 1: 1-6 (ESV)

The Constitutional recognized right to Life Liberty & Pursuit of Happiness

Rep. Louie Gohmert sent out first a quote and then a quip to rally-goers in Iowa that if John Adams thought the Constitution was for moral, righteous people, then that meant the legal document was primarily for modern-day Americans who revere both God and guns.
First the quote, from Mr. Adams from 1798: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other,” the Texas Republican said.

Mr. Gohmert then quipped, Raw Story reported: “It only is fit for people who cling to their God and their guns, you know?”

The crowd, gathered at a rally for Republican Senate candidate Sam Clovis, reportedly cheered.
Mr. Gohmert also spoke of how he was initially blamed for the antics of Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina, who shouted out “You lie!” during President Obama’s 2009 State of the Union Address.
“Somebody yells ‘You lie!’ and the camera goes on me,” Mr. Gohmert said, Raw Story reported. He also added that while he would never defiantly violate the rules of etiquette that run the House, he didn’t mind ratcheting his criticism of Mr. Obama “right up to the line,” he said, Raw Story reported.
The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The mother said to the little boy, it’s not appropriate to say the word pee in church. So, from now on whenever you have to pee just tell me that you have to whisper.

A Minnesota couple decided to vacation to Florida during the winter. They planned to stay at the very same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday. His wife would fly down the following day.

The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an e-mail to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her e-mail address, and without realizing his error, he sent the e-mail.

Meanwhile…..somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband’s funeral. He was a minister of many years who was called home to glory following a sudden heart attack. The widow decided to check her e-mail, expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she fainted.

The widow’s son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife

Subject: I’ve Arrived

Date: 16 May 2003

I know you’re surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I’ve just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then! Hope your journey is not as uneventful as mine was.

P.S. Sure is hot down here!

Troy and Doug,

I really appreciate your method of ministry. The way you explain the Bible verse really gives me a better understanding.  I don’t read metaphors well and rarely take anything more than EXACTLY what is written away from my studies. I grew up in the church, but have always felt lost. I have always been a backslider and a poor example of a Christian. I think God has used you (Troy) to convict me, as well as give me comfort. You have touched on several of my personal struggles in your testimonies. It is such a relief/inspiration to hear a good Christian man that has gone through some of the same things I have. I have always called myself a Christian and yet have always felt out of place around other Christians, at church or otherwise. Some of my unspeakable thoughts leave me feeling like its hopeless and I will never be good enough, but your testimonies have helped me see otherwise. Please don’t worry so much about going off on a tangent because those times you do are always my favorite parts of the show. I always get a lot out of them. I listen to the old shows over and over while waiting for the next.

Doug you did a great job with the show last week. I spent some time living outside Ft Valley and working in Perry several years ago, so I’m familiar with your neck of the woods.

In closing I too hope I didn’t ramble too much, but I wanted to let you know that all of the work you guys are doing through God with the show is impacting/renewing my spiritual walk. Thank you and God bless.

Weekly Bible Verse
Romans 9:11-26 (ESV) “though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls—  she was told, “The older will serve the younger.”  As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”    What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means!  For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”  So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.  For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”  So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.    You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”  But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”  Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?  What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,  in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory—  even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?  As indeed he says in Hosea,  “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’”     “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”

A woman was heading inside after pulling her car into the garage at her Detroit, Mich. home when a man armed with a gun attempted to rob her. In response, the resident, a Right-to-Carry permit holder, drew a gun and shot the attacker, killing him. The shooting marked the third recorded incident in a week in which armed Detroit residents defended themselves from criminal attack. This string of defensive gun uses follows a late-January statement by Detroit Police Chief James Craig, in which the he noted, “I did, in fact, say that good Americans, good Detroiters, if responsible, could get CPLs, and that it could — emphasis on the word ‘could’ — be a deterrent to violent crime. I said that because of my experience in four cities, having seen good Americans and good Detroiters that have CCWs, and what effect it has had on deterring violent crime.”

Hey Troy and Doug,

I have been with you guys from the very first episode! I love every episode and really appreciate your time spent in the Word and it’s applications to today…even those passages for the Old Testament. I studied Hebrew in college and was blown away by studying the Old Testament. Unfortunately I think too many Christian today disregard just how applicable the old Testament can be, not to mention how incredible it is to see how every passage of the OT points to Christ!

I am a back country boy from the hills of Pennsylvania but I currently work on a university campus in bio medical research and am unable to carry while at work. Any time I am not at work I carry my Springfield XD9 in a Galco IWB holster.

I struggle with knowing whether or not I would draw my gun in defense of my own life, being fully assured that if I die I would be with The Lord. That being said, I chose to carry daily in order to be able to defend those who either can’t or choose not to defend themselves if the situation leaves no other alternatives. Maybe this is something that could be discussed in a future episode, as a Christian, when is it acceptable to draw (if there are no other alternatives) and is it ever better to lay down ones own life?

Another suggestion may be to interview religious leaders who carry, especially in light of the huge success of the “church carry” episode. My father-in-law is the district superintendent for the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church denomination in western Pennsylvania. He doesn’t carry on his person all the time but he usually has a firearms close by (usually a .44 mag desert eagle). He is also an avid hunter and outdoors-man. If you would be interested I can ask him or send you his contact info. You by no means would have to use him but if you were interested I thought he could give you a place to start.

Thanks for all the hard work you put into the show! Gun are good but God is great!

Brandon
Subject: My situation…

Hey guys I have been listening to the podcast for a while and I hear your testimony of faith and I don’t have that kind of story. I have been in church since I can remember and have recently found my way back to Christ and am going to church twice a week after a hiatus due to differences with a church when I went to college. I am in a situation at work where there is a lot of sexual comments and what not. I find myself angry and having meltdowns at home. Also I find myself cursing more and I am not liking who I am becoming. I have tried to change my situation but the jobs are not here. I pray and read my devotions looking for guidance but I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if the devil is testing my faith or if I am just having a rough go at it. Any guidance would be appreciated. Keep up the great work guys!!

Weekly Bible Verse:

Response to Brandon,
Take heart, I have been where you are many times as God worked on me through the years. I too was raised in the church and was active in programs and missions. I was saved at an early age and through my high school years I found myself becoming more worldly. When I went off to college, I became completely worldly without my family and church families eyes on me. Although when I would come home to visit I went to church, and I even attended a church near my college; my soul was in total rebellion to God. Oddly we always think we are fooling people or covering our tracks, but our thoughts are what God judges.

Conviction: You and I are just like Paul when he confessed the guilt he had over his own sin life. Roman 7:15-19 “For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.  Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good.  So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.  For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.  For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.  Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.” (ESV)

Take Captive every thought: My dilemma was Jesus was my “savior” but not my “Lord”. I had to learn the painful and hard way that Jesus wants all of me. That begins with taking captive our thoughts. As Paul said in:

2 Corinthians 10:5 “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.” The whole chapter 10 is great to meditate on. The more I have had to battle sin the more God has revealed to me that it was not my friends, music, outside influences that caused me to sin. It was I wanted to sin, I was not a good person, I was the cause of my sin. We cannot do anything good apart from Christ.

Submission: So Brandon, I think you are on the right track. You are convicted of your sin, and seem repentant, and you want to stop going back to the same sin. So I believe the Holy Spirit is at work convicting you. My recommendation is first make sure that you have accepted Jesus as your “Lord” and are dying to yourself Daily (hourly, by the minute). See Luke 9: 23-26 “And he said to all,  “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and  take up his cross  daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed  when he comes in  his glory and the glory of the Father and of  the holy angels.. “ (ESV)

Dying to self: Remember part of that dying to self is also giving God all your concerns, issues, and emotions. We are to totally submit our will to God’s, so we are to give him everything else. See Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden  and  overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]  Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer. 6:16.]  For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good–not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light  and  easy to be borne. (AMP)  also Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). [I Pet. 5:7.]  But You, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of destruction; men of blood and treachery shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in, lean on, and confidently rely on You.” (AMP)

Scripture: Devotions are okay, but you need to make sure you are reading the whole scripture, or listen to it. You can do this on audio, video, or just by reading it.

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;  because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God,  I also will forget your children.”

Psalm 119:11-12 “Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes.” (ESV)

Continue in your prayer: Pray that God would reveal himself through the scriptures and that he would help you to resist sin. I pray this daily. The more you seek God the more he reveals himself. Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” (ESV)

Flee from Evil: As far as cursing, I noticed when I hung around people who cussed, or watched programs and movies with cursing; I was more likely to say it too. If people around you are talking in appropriately, pray that God would close their mouths as he did for Daniel in the lion’s den. When a bad conversation starts up walk away, if that is not possible, change the subject or start asking for prayer request. Pray for them and start asking about them and their families and issues. Show God’s love because apart from God’s intervention we would be just like them. 2 Timothy 2:21-26 “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work. So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.  Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels.  And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,  correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth,  and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.” (ESV)

Philippians 4:8-9 “For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely  and  lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue  and  excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on  and  weigh  and  take account of these things [fix your minds on them].  Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.” (AMP)

Finally rest in his Grace: Since it is God who does the work in you to make you in His image (sanctification), rest in His Grace.  As Paul said in Philippians 1:6-11 “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.  It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.  For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.  And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,  so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,  filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” (ESV)

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
7 The more they increased and multiplied [in prosperity and power], the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.
8 They feed on the sin of My people and set their heart on their iniquity.
9 And it shall be: Like people, like priest; I will punish them for their ways and repay them for their doings.

Restaurant employee shoots armed would-be robbers
By Allison Sampite-Montecalvo and Susan Shroder 11:53 p.m.Jan. 3, 2014 Updated 4:01 p.m. Jan. 4, 2014
VISTA — An employee at a Vista restaurant fired shots at two men who tried to rob the business at gunpoint Friday night, a sheriff’s official said.
The attempted robbery was reported about 9:40 p.m. at Uncle Tony’s Italian Cuisine on Sycamore Avenue, near Shadowridge Drive.
The employee said he fired eight shots at the attempted robbers while inside the business, but they fled without taking anything, sheriff’s deputies said. He told deputies he thought he hit both of them in the upper body.
One was described as Latino, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore a black hoodie, a blue bandanna over his face and khaki pants. The other man was described only as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, with his face covered. Both carried handguns.
Deputies said the men fled in a white two-door vehicle, possibly a Honda. Local hospitals were notified.
About midnight, two men with gunshot wounds showed up in the Tri-City Medical Center emergency room, deputies said. Vista detectives arrived to interview the men, who said they were shot while walking near John Landis Park in Oceanside, but neither man could provide a suspect description or location of the shooting.
Deputies said both men were treated for their injuries, which were consistent with the descriptions given by the restaurant employee, then released.
Detectives arrested and booked both men into the Vista jail on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon, and other weapons and probation violation charges.

Chuck Norris invented black. In fact, he invented the entire spectrum of visible light. Except pink. Tom Cruise invented pink.

God invented the world because Chuck Norris needed a punching bag.

Newton’s Third Law is wrong: Although it states that for each action, there is an equal and
opposite reaction, there is no force equal in reaction to a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick.

Weekly Bible Verse

5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,
15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Love the show
I like the combination of both the bible and guns. I am a little newer to guns so all the info is great. Keeping everything in perspective is priceless. by Tile-Guy
