On the first day of the deer hunting season, a hunter fell out of a deer stand and broke both his legs. “Why couldn’t this happen on my last day of hunting?!” the hunter cried to the doctor. “It did,” the doctor replied.
A deer hunter asked his Pastor if it was a sin to hunt on Sunday. “From what I hear about your aim,” said the Pastor, “It’s a sin for you to hunt any time.”
Doctors Duck Hunting
Five doctors went duck shooting one day. Included in the group were a GP, a pediatrician, a psychiatrist, a surgeon and a pathologist.
Soon, a bird came winging overhead. The first to react was the GP who raised his shotgun, but then hesitated. “I’m not quite sure it’s a duck,” he said, “I think that I will have to get a second opinion from a specialist.” By that time, the bird was long gone.
Another bird appeared in the sky. This time the pediatrician drew a bead on it. He too, however, was unsure if it was really a duck in his sights. Besides, it might have babies. “I’ll have to do some more investigations,” he muttered, as the creature made good its escape.
Next to spy a bird flying was the sharp-eyed psychiatrist. Shotgun shouldered, he was more certain of his intended prey’s identity. “Now, I know it’s a duck, but does it know it’s a duck?” The fortunate bird disappeared while the fellow wrestled with this dilemma.
Finally a fourth fowl sped past and this time the surgeon’s weapon pointed skyward. BOOM!! The surgeon lowered his smoking gun and turned nonchalantly to the pathologist beside him. “Go see if that was a duck, will you?”
I know that you avoid politics whenever possible but thought this was interesting. I got a call from a lady that stated she was calling for a survey and would I answer 3 or 4 questions with a yes or no. I told her that I would. Her first question was, ” Do you approve of Donald Trump’s performance as president so far?” I answered, “Yes” The woman hung up on me and didn’t ask any other questions.
Keep up the good work. I enjoy the live feeds when I remember to tune into them but always listen to the podcast. ~Bill Donovan
‘Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.’ James 5:13-16

Concealed Carry holder holds robbery suspect at gunpoint
BROWNSVILLE, Ky (WBKO) — A Grayson County man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a residence in Edmonson County.
The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Robert Hunt was held at gunpoint by the homeowner until deputies arrived to the house on E.G. Nash Road. The homeowner was a Concealed/Carry Deadly Weapons permit holder according to a sheriff’s deputy that says in situations like that, it’s important to alert police to ensure everyone’s safety. “Once you call police, if you’re actually going to hold that suspect at gunpoint you need to let dispatch know. Go ahead and give a description of yourself, so we know once we get on scene who the actual conceal carry holder is and who actually is the suspect,” said Deputy Jordan Jones with the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office. Hunt was taken to the Hart County jail. He’s facing charges of robbery 2nd degree, theft by unlawful taking or disposition-firearms, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition-all others under $500.
