Bible Verse
23 Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

Pistol-Packing Passer-By Aids Utah Policeman Being Assaulted

SPRINGVILLE, Utah (AP) — A passer-by carrying a concealed pistol is being credited with stopping an attack on a police officer in central Utah.

Derek Meyer told FOX13 he was driving Friday afternoon in Springville when he saw a policeman scuffling with someone near a clothes donation bin.

Meyer turned his vehicle around, pulled over and pulled out his pistol.

He aimed the gun at the man assaulting the policeman and yelled at him to stop.

The suspect — identified as Paul Douglas Anderson of Spanish Fork— ran from the scene, but was later arrested.

Anderson was jailed on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and other charges.

The unidentified policeman suffered a fractured eye socket and lacerations around his eye.

Springville police say Meyer’s quick action helped save the officer’s life.

Bible Verse

Straining Toward the Goal

12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. 16 Only let us hold true to what we have attained.

17 Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. 18 For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Waffle House Customer Shoots At Armed Robbers, Photos Released

A Waffle House customer fired shots at two armed robbers early Saturday morning, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office.

By Deb Belt, Patch National Staff | Feb 3, 2018 1:44 pm ET

ACWORTH, GA — Surveillance photos of two armed men who robbed an Acworth Waffle House have been released by the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office in hopes that the public can identify the suspects. The hold-up was reported about 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the restaurant located at 1133 Highway 92, Acworth.

Deputies say two armed men entered the restaurant and demanded money from the cash register. A Waffle House customer drew his own firearm, firing a round at the suspects, who then fled the business. Both robbers wore black hoodies one had a picture of a basketball player jumping and the other said “Been Broke Before” on the front.

Authorities say the suspects may have left the scene in a silver SUV. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, police say.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 770-928-0239 or 911.

Hey Guys,

I have been thinking lately about about things. In our world we speak volumes about guns but very little about bullets. I equate this to going to Lowe’s and looking at hammers. You have a 4′ section of hammers, but there is 40′ of nails. Why does everyone talk about how great the hammer is when it’s the nail that produces the result? Just thought I would throw that out there. Love the show.

1. STEP UP: Lead. Initiate. Be a man of action. Assume it is your job and your moment. Hate apathy. Reject passivity.”Be strong, and let us show ourselves courageous for the sake of our people and for the cities of our God; and may the LORD do what is good in His sight.” -2 Samuel 10:7,12

2. SPEAK OUT: Silence in the midst of sin is a sin. Be courageous. Fear God not man. Speak the truth in love.

Better is open rebuke than love that is concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy. – Proverbs 27:5-6

Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all the unfortunate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and defend the rights of the afflicted and needy. – Proverbs 31:8-9

But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence. – 1 Peter 3:15

Other Scripture:

Proverbs 14:25, Proverbs 15:1-2, Proverbs 24:11-12, Isaiah 8:11-13, Jeremiah 1:17, Romans 1:16

3. STAND STRONG: Don’t give in when you are challenged, attacked or criticized.

“Now behold, I have made you today as a fortified city and as a pillar of iron and as walls of bronze against the whole land, to the kings of Judah, to its princes, to its priests and to the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver you,” declares the LORD. – Jeremiah 1:18-19

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. – I Corinthians 15:58

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. – 1 Peter 5:8-9

4. STAY HUMBLE: Be vigilant against pride. Get the log out of your eye. Don’t think less of yourself, think of yourself less.

Let the righteous smite me in kindness and reprove me; It is oil upon the head; Do not let my head refuse it, for still my prayer is against their wicked deeds. – Psalm 141:5

You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:5-7

Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 12:1, Isaiah 66:2, Micah 6:8, John 15:5, Philippians 2:3-5

Suspect shot in attempted robbery at Midtown apartment
Yolanda Jones USA TODAY NETWORK – Tennessee Published 12:00 p.m. CT July 11, 2017 | Updated 12:00 p.m. CT July 11, 2017

A 49-year-old man was shot and is in critical condition after police said he attempted to rob a woman outside of her Midtown apartment early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of N. McLean near Poplar, police said.

A woman told police that when she got out of her car at her apartment a man ran toward her, grabbed her and tried to steal her laptop bag.

The woman and man struggled over the bag and she screamed, waking up a neighbor who ran out to help, police said.

The three struggled and fell to the ground. The woman’s gun, a Ruger 9mm, fell out of her bag during the fight and that’s when police said the suspect was shot during the incident.

It was unclear in the police report who fired the gun during the struggle. A third witness told police she heard the suspect say “I’m going to shoot” and saw the muzzle of the gun flash. The witness reported hearing two shots and called police.

The man accused in the attempted robbery was identified in a police report as Kerry Petty. He was found on the ground with a gunshot wound when police arrived.

Petty has been charged with aggravated assault and criminal attempted felony, police said.

He remains in the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said the woman and her neighbor were also treated for injuries they sustained during the fight with Petty.

Answered Prayers

After starting a new diet I altered my drive to work to avoid passing my favorite bakery. I accidentally drove by the bakery this morning and as I approached, there in the window were a host of chocolates, donuts, and cheesecakes.

I felt this was no accident, so I prayed … “Lord, it’s up to You. If You want me to have any of those delicious goodies, create a parking place for me directly in front of the bakery.”

And sure enough, on the eighth time around the block, there it was!  God is so good!

Doug & Troy,

After listing to your “Episode 184 – Summer is here Bass Fishing and Terrorist”, it inspired me to go fishing in a lake near me.

After not getting anything on the first try, I went to another lake rented a rowboat – I was the motor, and caught: one Largemouth Bass (11 inches – had to be 12 keep, put him back) two Yellow Perch, one Bluegill (first cast) and 8 Redear Sunfish (all babies). All three were very tasty.

While fishing I was reminded of the fact that GOD put all the wildlife here for us to enjoy watching and if we are so inclined – catching and eating.

It also reminded me that with all of the – political turmoil, attacks by Islamic fundamentalists, and violent crime in the US on the rise, enjoying the great outdoors is GODs gift to all of us.

GOD is also telling us to slow down and enjoy life. I had not fished freshwater since around 1980, ( a lot of saltwater before and after) I was reminded of how peaceful and relaxing freshwater fishing can be.

A day day of sun, some exercise, admiring the scenery, contemplating the Bible and doing battle with a fish – life is good, thank GOD.

Keep doing GODs work

Tim Kim

Hey guys,

Just wanted to give a update. In early April, I had a life-threatening case of pneumonia that had me on dual life-support for 2 weeks. This really took a toll on my body (I lost over 30 pounds), especially my lungs, so I had to spend another month or so in inpatient rehab. When I was admitted, I could not breath while sitting upright, and had so much muscle wastage that it took weeks to stand for more than a few seconds. Luckily I am fairly young (early 30s), so my body responded pretty well to rehab. Now I am in outpatient rehab, going 3 times a week for 3 hour sessions. I can walk for short periods of time and can generally move about the house, but am on oxygen and need to catch my breath after the smallest of tasks.

The illness is keeping me from work and from taking proper care of my family (wife and 6 month old daughter), so I am asking you guys to keep me in your prayers for continued healing, Thanks, and am looking forward to catch up on the podcasts.

–Tim

Bible Verse

13 O Lord our God,

other lords besides you have ruled over us,

but your name alone we bring to remembrance.

14 They are dead, they will not live;

they are shades, they will not arise;

to that end you have visited them with destruction

and wiped out all remembrance of them.

15 But you have increased the nation, O Lord,

you have increased the nation; you are glorified;

you have enlarged all the borders of the land.

16 O Lord, in distress they sought you;

they poured out a whispered prayer

when your discipline was upon them.

17 Like a pregnant woman

who writhes and cries out in her pangs

when she is near to giving birth,

so were we because of you, O Lord;

18 we were pregnant, we writhed,

but we have given birth to wind.

We have accomplished no deliverance in the earth,

and the inhabitants of the world have not fallen.

19 Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise.

You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!

For your dew is a dew of light,

and the earth will give birth to the dead.

20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,

and shut your doors behind you;

hide yourselves for a little while

until the fury has passed by.

21 For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place

to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity,

and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,

and will no more cover its slain.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says an off-duty police officer has shot and killed a man who was stabbing a woman.
Authorities tell news outlets that Brunswick Officer Aldrid Spaulding III was in the area Monday evening, and someone alerted him to a domestic dispute outside an apartment.
The bureau says David Leon Bell was stabbing the woman when Spaulding arrived and the officer shot him.
Brunswick police said Tuesday that Bell had died at a hospital. The woman was reported in stable condition.
Spaulding is on administrative leave during the bureau’s investigation, which is standard procedure.
Brunswick is about 60 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida

Subject: Christian Self Defense Resources

Troy,

I looked briefly on the website show notes, as well as on Facebook for something you and Doug have spoken of a number of times and I am hoping you can simplify my search by answering a question.

I recently had a discussion with some family members and did a poor job on rebuking the “turn the other cheek, aren’t Christians called to be pacifists” statements. I referenced Peter being armed when Christ was taken away, etc but found myself poorly equipped to debate them on the subject and I do not intend to allow that to happen again.

There is a book you guys have spoken about a number of times on the subject of scriptural reference in support of Christians defending themselves and their families. And I figured I needed to read it and study the referenced scriptures so the next time this happens I can better explain my beliefs. Sadly too many of my friends and family do not feel as passionately as I do when it comes to the responsibility to be armed, trained and mentally prepared to defend yourself and your family.

Can you give me the title of that or other resources that might help me be better equipped to answer these kinds of questions?

As always thanks again for the awesome job you and Doug do of providing Godly focused content for the Christian gun owner.

Blessings,

– Chuck Chettle

The book is by Greg Hopkins Book A time to Kill,  The Myth of Christian Pacifism https://www.amazon.com/Time-Kill-Myth-Christian-Pacifism/dp/0982215150/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496787325&sr=8-1&keywords=a+time+to+kill+the+myth+of+christian+pacifism There are many verses the give Christian’s direction in personal defense, defense of family, community and nation. Greg does an excellent job in laying it out.

Many verses that leftist and non-believers are taken out of context. Specifically “turn the other cheek”, that refers retaliation” “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. This is saying if someone wrongs you, you do not retaliate and take vengeance, you let God have vengeance and governments do its job and judge. It also says a slap, not to let them murder, rape or rob you.

The oft used “live by the sword, die by the sword” stating that if you fight the government by taking up arms you will be most likely killed with similar. We deal with attackers by sword (Gun) we are justified to defend ourselves and family.

Hope this helps,

Troy

Weekly Bible Verse
“I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and all your saints shall bless you! They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power, to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. [The Lord is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.] The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them. The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.”

Lancaster city homeowner shoots intruder after early Sunday morning break-in, police say

CHAD UMBLE | Staff Writer Jun 4, 2017 Updated Jun 5, 2017

A Lancaster resident took “action that he thought was necessary” when he shot a man who kicked in the front door of his home Sunday morning, an official said.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident which occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Marietta Avenue.

“We’re working backwards to decide what led to (this) and why,” Lt. Bill Hickey said Monday. “There are no charges in the pipelines for the homeowners at this point.”

Police said William Louis Stewart, 46, of Lancaster, kicked in the door, prompting a woman who lives there to scream for help from the first floor.

The woman’s husband, who was asleep upstairs, heard the commotion, retrieved a handgun, and confronted the intruder, who was advancing with a piece of wood, police said. The husband shot Stewart once in the chest, after which his wife called 911, according to police.

No one else was in the house at the time of the incident.

Stewart was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that didn’t appear life-threatening.

He was released from the hospital before noon Monday, police said Tuesday.

According to court documents, Stewart was arraigned Monday afternoon on charges of burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

The homeowners — whom police did not identify — were interviewed at the police station while the scene was processed for evidence. They told police they didn’t know Stewart and he had no reason to be in their home.

Winters said investigators are still trying to determine why Stewart went to that particular home and what his intentions were. He said the gun used in the shooting was legally-owned.

“The residents were very frightened to find someone forcing their way into their home through their front door and entering their home,” Winters said. “The homeowner took action that he thought was necessary to protect himself, his wife and their home. Fortunately, they were not injured.”

Police ask anyone with information to call Lancaster police at 717-735-3300. Tipsters also may call Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-1913 or anonymously text LANCS plus your message to 847411 (TIP411).

“And I heard you say that when we die, our bodies go back to dust.”
“Yes, I’m glad you were listening,” the pastor replies. “Why do you ask?”

My Grandmother died about fifteen years ago, she was the most god-loving person I have ever known.

She was born around 1905; she went through a lot of tough times – two husbands passing away, a daughter passing away, my father having two bouts with Rheumatic fever, and all the normal problems encountered raising kids in the times before, and during WW2 and for some time after, plus being broke for much of that time.

But God and Jesus was the Foundation of her life, her church and the people in it – her support group.

To me fearing God is for people that need a reason to stay on the path, she had no doubt of God’s love for us and the bible was the book she lived by, thus no fear – only love.

When death was close (she knew it and was ready) we went to visit her knowing that it was most likely the last time we would see her alive. We heard her say “Why is God keeping me here?”. Knowing her faith, and to hear her question God – shook me deeply (still gets to me today) I told her “God is not done with you yet, you still have something to do”. I do not think she heard me. After leaving, I came to the realization that the thought and statement were not meant for her, God meant it for me. She died two days later her job for God was done and her faith rewarded.

After she died I got one of her Bibles (The Living Bible), the last one she was reading – she wore the others out. About a third of it is underlined. That bible is vacuum packed to protect it. (I bought 5 copies – one for me, one for each of my 3 nieces, and one for my nephew.)

As I learn and grow as a Christian, her faith and strength are wonder and an inspiration to me

She would be amazed at the technology today, but more amazed that I actually listen to the bible while driving to work everyday.

I listen to your podcast everyday at work (I have restarted from the beginning);  gentlemen you put the bible and the word of god into everyday terms that are easy to understand and have  cleared up a lot of issues that have confused me for a long time after getting the “polluted” gospel that is preached in the liberal Northeast (N.J.).

The gun part is very cool also, I have a bunch of guns (still need more however). Concealed carry in NJ? only a dream

Suggestion, put the parts of the bible that permit self-defense some place on the web site, in addition to the show notes.

A mom is home alone with her 2 kids when an intruder breaks in! But she was armed and ready to protect her family
The woman, who did not want to be identified, was at home with her children, ages 10 and 3.
The burglar quickly realized that he was in serious trouble after making it inside the home.“He was running for his life and kept looking back, making sure I wasn’t going to shoot him in the back,” the woman said.
“What stopped you from killing this guy?” Local 10 News reporter Michael Seiden asked.
“My kids. Not traumatizing them and I did have a baby,” she said.

Smarter than Einstein
At the conclusion of the sermon, the worshipers filed out of the sanctuary to greet the preacher. As one of them left, he shook the preacher’s hand, thanked him for the sermon and said, “Thanks for the message, Preacher. You know, you must be smarter than Einstein.” Beaming with pride, the preacher said, “Why, thank you, brother!”

As the week went by, the preacher began to think about the man’s compliment. The more he thought, the more he became baffled as to why anyone would deem him smarter than Einstein. So he decided to ask the man the following Sunday.

The next Sunday he asked the member if he remembered the previous Sunday’s comment about the sermon. The member replied that he did. The preacher asked: “Exactly what did you mean that I must be smarter than Einstein?”

The man replied, “Well, Preacher, they say that Einstein was so smart that only ten people in the entire world could understand him. But Preacher, no one can understand you.”

Listener Feedback
Hey Troy I listened to my first podcast from y’all and it was the security one. You talked about having the stickers print out for the kids check-in and some parents throwing it away. Well my wife and I are the children’s church coordinators at the church we attend and what we do is when the sticker is printed out we let the parents now that they have to bring the sticker back to the children’s area after service. We put the sticker on the room roster and the parent has to sign that they picked up the child. Also we use the numbers/letters that print on the stickers as our way of contacting the parent if needed. We put the number up on the monitors in the church at the bottom of it asking that parent with that child number please come to the children’s area…

I am going to start listening to other podcast as I get the chance. Reason I was drawn to this one is we are in the process of building our security team to have enough members to rotate people.

I really enjoyed listening to you guys and hope to be able to get some patches or maybe some stickers soon.. thanks for y’alls insight and keep it up!

Thank You!
David Seal

Troy,

Just listened to your last episode on church security. One suggestion I might make is get an app called “GroupMe” on all of your security team members smartphones, set up a group called “Church Security” or the like and add all the members into that group. It’s like chat room text messaging, anyone posts a message into that group and it goes to all members phones with a notification like a text message. This will allow you to alert your team en mass and will prevent 3 or 4 from individually texting you asking “whats going on?”. This will save you tons of time. I’m a volunteer firefighter for my local community and we use this app and group in our department, for responding to calls and telling each other when we are “in service” and “out of service”

so it’s much easier to let everyone know something all at once. Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Chris

One of David’s Mighty Men
22 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was a valiant man of Kabzeel, a doer of great deeds. He struck down two heroes of Moab. He also went down and struck down a lion in a pit on a day when snow had fallen. 23 And he struck down an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits tall (8’:7-8”). The Egyptian had in his hand a spear like a weaver’s beam, but Benaiah went down to him with a staff and snatched the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand and killed him with his own spear. 24 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada and won a name beside the three mighty men. 25 He was renowned among the thirty, but he did not attain to the three. And David set him over his bodyguard. 1 Chronicles 11:22-25 (ESV)

Two killed in Athens-area home invasion
By Rich Flowers, Athens Review
Mar 13, 2017

Two men were shot and killed Sunday near Athens after they invaded a home and attempted to rob two residents, according to Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said the deceased are Steven Kelley, 49, of Winona and Cecil Spain, 31, of Grand Saline.

The residents of the house were slightly injured in the confrontation that occurred shortly after 4 p.m. in the 2800 block of Hopson Drive

“It was a home invasion and attempted robbery that went very bad,” Hillhouse said. “The assailants entered the residence under the pretext that they were customers. The two men posed as customers looking to purchase a dog from a man and woman at their Athens-area residence.”

The couple was physically restrained and suffered minor injuries during the home invasion. Both deceased men were armed with handguns during the home invasion.

The deceased were identified with the assistance of the Mesquite Police Department, Crime Scene Unit’s fingerprint analyst Detective Aaron Martin.

Henderson County Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Milton Adams conducted an inquest at the scene and ordered the deceased to be sent to American Forensics in Mesquite for an autopsy.

Henderson County 392nd District Judge Scott McKee issued a search warrant for the residence. Officers spent several hours at the home gathering evidence. Hillhouse said the HCSO has a vehicle thought to be the one driven by the alleged robbers in its possession.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson County District Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Rangers are investigating the case.

Though the residents sustained only minor injuries in the confrontation, they are dealing with the emotional impact of the incident.

“They’re fine,” Hillhouse said. “It was traumatic, but they’re holding it together.”

Hillhouse said it’s been a long time since Henderson County had an incident where someone had been killed in a robbery or break-in attempt.

Boise woman scares off attempted carjacker with pistol: ‘It was shock and fear’

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — A woman saved herself from a dangerous situation with her pistol kept in her car Monday.

“I couldn’t believe it, it was shock and fear,” said the unidentified woman.

It happened at the corner of west Kootenai and south Hilton streets. A woman just dropped off her 9-year-old daughter Monday morning around 7:30 a.m. She was driving alone when a man jumped out in front of her car. She slammed on the brakes and it stalled.

“He came to the driver’s side door of my car and opened it and demanded my keys and my purse and when I refused to give it to him he started hitting me in the head multiple times,” the woman said.

The would-be carjacker refused to give up.

“He got my face once, and my forehead once, and when that didn’t work he grabbed my hair and began pulling me out of my car and I finally said ‘OK, OK, that’s enough stop! I’ll give you my purse,” said the woman.

So he did. That’s when the woman got the upper hand.

“When I turned to give him my purse, I reached in my center console and I grabbed my gun and I pointed it at him, and it scared him off,” the woman said.

The woman says the man ran down an alley that leads to the back of a nearby Albertsons grocery store. He disappeared from sight. She can only wonder what might have happened if she didn’t have her pistol.

“He probably would’ve dragged me out of my car and kept beating me… I honestly don’t know if he would have stopped,” the woman said.

The suspect remains at large. KBOI 2News withheld the identity of the victim to protect her.

Listener Feedback
Brother, i’m starting to like this YouTube thing you’re doing, get the shows a little sooner.  I went  to sheepdog seminar in Chattanooga couple weeks ago, it’s amazing how different I feel… it was like a revival for Patriots. But anyway I was wondering if you ever put your info pack together.  The church security info pack you used to talk about every week that you were working on it but I don’t think you have mentioned it in a while. And you really don’t know how good you made me feel when you and Doug were talking about cigars the other day, so I guess I know what to get you for your birthday LOL. If there’s anything I can do to help the two of you and the show please let me know.  you and Doug are a true blessing!  by the way, this week’s show with Matt Reynolds, he is very impressive.
